In the winter of 2003 I saw an ad in a LDA publication that changed the life of our son, Aaron. I sent an email, never expecting an answer or at least a long delay, and was I surprised when I got an answer almost before I hit the send button. Frontier Travel Camp was everything – is everything it says it is – and so much more. Since his first summer in 2004, with Frontier travel Camp – and more specifically Scott Fineman, Aaron has had some of his best and most special memories and moments.
Frontier Travel Camp, Scott, and his phenomenal staff have created incredible traveling opportunities in a safe, warm, loving and caring environment. Everyone in our family wishes we could see some of the places that Aaron has had the opportunity to explore. He has been on 2 cruises – going on his third in 2010 – and we have not even been on one cruise! And besides the traveling, Aaron now has friends throughout the United States who keep in touch when they are home from their special summers.
Frontier Travel Camp gives Aaron the chance to have a “regular” experience, to have special moments to share with his family at home, and a community of friends when special needs adults are often lonely and isolated. If as a prospective parent, guardian or participant you are reading this, we hope you decide to sign up today and give this very priceless gift to the special needs adult in your family.

Frontier Travel Camp saved my life. My daughter Holly needed to learn some independence and I needed a break for the summer. In April of 2003 I googled special needs camps and the web site just jump out at me. I had never heard of a travel camp for special needs and was very nervous and anxious. I picked up the phone and called the number and Scott picked up on the second ring and after talking to him for 5 min I knew in my gut that I had found something so special and perfect for us. I can only tell you that Holly has been on every trip offered except one because she started a new school and I had to use the camp as blackmail so she would try the new school. Holly has made friends from all over the USA and Canada. She is always on facebook, texting and emailing keeping up with all her new buddies. We will be watching TV or at the movies and she is the only one who says "I've been there, I've been there too, and there and there etc". The staff is incredible, they amaze me with their patience and knowledge of handling all kinds of different needs and situations that arise. So, for my family, Scott, Myla and all the staff have made not only Holly an international traveler but has helped her grow up and learn life skills while seeing the world. When I leave Holly at the airport, I never worry. I know she is in good hands and I can relax for 5 weeks.
I feel so fortunate to have found this camp 7 years ago. Thanks to all for making my daughter happy.

This was Claire's first summer with Frontier, and she couldn't have loved it more. She was the youngest one in the group, but that did not stop her from forming friendships and making the most of her trip. She participated in the entire 4 week session, and instead of telling me how much she missed me when she got off the plane, the first words out of her mouth were "Please can I go back next summer?!" And of course she will be joining them for this years adventure. The staff is outstanding, and I knew I did not have to worry about Claire having any issues that could not be taken care of. I could not have asked for a better experience for my daughter, and I hope she enjoys Frontier Travel Camp for many more years to come.

Bonnie joined Frontier Travel Camp for both segments of July 2009 trip without knowing one participant. She had the best summer of her life and came away with many new friends with whom she keeps in touch. I was most impressed with the staff who were always available and conducted themselves in a most professional way. Bonnie looks forward to another wonderful summer trip in 2010.

Frontier travel Camp is the best way to travel. I have made so many lasting friendships and i still keep in touch with quite a few of them. 2009 was one of the best trips. There i met Alan Rubinstein who is one of my best best friends. We go on so many great trips such as cruises and other wonderful and exciting places. The best part of traveling with Frontier is not only the places we visit but its traveling around with each other that is MOST important. As long as we are together as a group, that is what it is all about. We are a big happy family.

This past summer was my son Alan\'s first trip with Frontier Travel Camp. He came home with more confidence and maturity than when he left. It was the most wonderful experience for Alan. He cannot wait until the next trip. He met many people, and especially a wonderful young man named David Greenberg. The two gentlemen speak every day and have become very good friends. Scott Fineman, who is the director of the camp, is wonderful and so are the counselors. This
group is the best with very caring and wonderful people. They are like one big family!

Our son Jared, 22 years old, has Williams Syndrome. He has traveled with Frontier Travel Camp for the last five summers. He has been on some amazing trips to great locations such as Scotland, Canada, and the national parks. He especially loves the counselors, who come back every year. Scott, the director, is full of patience and energy. During the year, Jared has kept in telephone contact with campers from other parts of the US. They look forward to seeing each other every summer. I can't recommend this group highly enough!
